ECON 201 Principles of Macroeconomics - 3 credits

Organization and operation of American economy; supply and demand, money and banking, macroeconomic analysis of employment, aggregate output and inflation, public finance, and economic growth. UI students: may be used as general education credit - Social Science. Econ 201 and 202 may be taken in either order. Econ 201 or 202 carry only two credits after 272 [Foundations of Economic Analysis].
