Explores the role of the Teacher Librarian in providing information literacy instruction. Defines information literacy, as well as places it in a national, state and local framework. The research process as it correlates with information literacy and relevant educational theory is covered. Prerequisite or corequisite: LibS 430 or LibS 431 or permission Required: Internet access 10 graded assignments, 2 graded projects May submit up to three assignments per week after first assignment Credits earned for this course are included in a University of Idaho transcript and are calculated into the official institutional grade-point average (GPA).
