Principles and practice of effective business communication. Projects teach conventions of tone and style appropriate to the specific discourse situation in a variety of formats, including oral, written, visual, and multimedia genres. Prerequisite: Engl 102 or Equivalent; sophomore standing. Required: access to a computer, speakers and/or headphones 6 graded assignments, no exams; Students should plan on spending 3 weeks on each of the six projects Credits earned for this course are included in a University of Idaho transcript and are calculated into the official institutional grade-point average (GPA).
