CRIM 301 Criminological Theory - 3 credits

Review and assessment of common explanations of crime, deviant behavior and control. May include field trips. Prerequisite: CRIM 101.

Requires In-person proctoring

12 graded assignments, 2 graded exams;
May submit up to two assignments at a time, two per week. Before taking exams, students must wait for grades and feedback on assignments, which may take up to three weeks after the date of receipt by the instructor.


Credits earned for this course are included in a University of Idaho transcript and are calculated into the official institutional grade-point average (GPA).

Transaction options include EITHER
  1) Registration (registering for a new course):
   $160 per credit and $30 non-refundable administrative fee per course.
      OR
  2) Extension (extending your current course):
   $80 per course and $30 non-refundable administrative fee per course.
