KIN 486 Organization and Administration of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Athletics - 3 credits

Designed for administration in athletics, schools, recreation, private sector fitness/wellness programs. Students will explore legal issues, economics, finance and governance in sports while developing skills in computing, budgeting, marketing, fundraising, event management, program planning, scheduling, facility and personnel management.

15 graded assignments, 2 graded exams;
Students may submit 2 assignments per week. Before taking exams, students must wait for grades and feedback on assignments, which may take up to three weeks after the date of receipt by the instructor.


Credits earned for this course are included in a Lewis-Clark State College transcript.
