Joint-listed with PSYC 574 Exploration and examination of the sequence of events and services that clients encounter as they begin and move through the treatment process in a typical addictions treatment setting, as outlined in the Twelve Core Functions and Global Criteria of the International Certification Reciprocity Consortium (ICRC); study of the Twelve Core Functions and the Addiction Counseling Competencies relevant to each area. Additional projects/assignments required for graduate credit. Prereq: PSYC 101 12 graded assignments, 2 graded exams; Students may submit as many assignments per week as desired; however, assignments and exams must be submitted consecutively, in the order outlined in the course. Wait to receive a grade on the previous exam before submitting subsequent assignments. Before taking exams, students must wait for grades and feedback on assignments, which may take up to three weeks after the date of receipt by the instructor. Credits earned for this course are included in a University of Idaho transcript. Transaction options include EITHER 1) Registration (registering for a new course): $160 per credit and $30 non-refundable administrative fee per course.
