PSYC 582 Client Screening, Assessment, and Placement

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of substance abuse screening and assessment. This includes information related to interviewing techniques, substance abuse diagnosis, testing instruments, client placement and issues or problems that influence the assessment environment. Additional projects/assignments required for graduate credit.
Prereq for 482: PSYC 101 and PSYC 478
Prereq for 582: PSYC 578

15 graded assignments, 1 term paper, 2 graded exams.
No limit to the number of assignments a student may submit per week. Grades and feedback on assignments may take up to two weeks after the date of receipt by the instructor.


Credits earned for this course are included in a University of Idaho transcript.
