Community Meal Plans

We understand our student, faculty, and staff lifestyle and dining needs are unique. Our mission is to make dining on campus a complementary experience to attending classes or going to work at the University of Idaho.

With that in mind, there are Community Meal Plans centered on providing university community members a great value and convenience for every Vandals’ lifestyle.

A Gold Meal (formerly Meal Exchange) adds variety by allowing you to exchange some swipes from The Eatery for meals in other campus venues, such as Qdoba, True Burger, and Einstein Bros Bagles.

The Community Eight/Five/Three/One plans are good for the semester you purchaes them in and expire at the end of the semester. Dining Dollars and Meal Packs are good for the entire academic year and expire on May 10, 2025.

Fall 2024 Semester: Aug 14, 2024 - Dec 14, 2024
Spring 2025 Semester: Jan 5, 2025 - May 10, 2025
Summer 2024: May 10, 2025 - August 13, 2025

Summer Meal Plans and Packs are good for the summer begining May 12, 2025 and expire on August 13, 2025.

Students living in the residence halls can add or make changes to their meal plan by contacting Housing & Residential Life via email at housing@uidaho.edu.
