Concolor fir, or Rocky Mountain white fir, is native to southeast Idaho and grows up to 125' at maturity. Concolor fir is found on higher elevation, cool, northern exposures but is adaptable to a wide range of soil types and moisture, making it useful in a windbreak. With nice symmetyr and beautiful blue-gray needles, this fir is used extensively in the Christmas tree industry.
