Oceanspray is an Idaho native shrub that typically grows up to 12’, but on favorable coastal sites can reach 20’. A multi-stemmed shrub, its delicate-looking white clusters of flowers are produced on the ends of long graceful limbs, creating a beautiful ornamental. Oceanspray is commonly found in open forests or disturbed sites that receive partial to full sun. When a hillside is covered in blooming Oceanspray it is easy to see the reason why it was named after the white foam of a rolling wave.
