Group Fitness Class Registration

Registration is now open for 2023 Summer Session 1 Group Fitness Classes.  Registration prices will drop each Saturday at 12pm. 

Session 1 classes will operate between May 30th and June 30th.  See individual class descriptions for offical start/end dates.  No classes will operate on University holidays.

  • Priority registration deadline for classes is May 26th.  After the priority deadline, if space is still available registration prices will be reduced at 12pm each Saturday.
  • Any UI Student, Faculty, Staff, or local community member with a Vandal Card can register, but all Non-UI individuals must be at least 18 years old to participate.
  • A Vandal Card is required prior to registration. If you need a Vandal Card, one can be purchased at the UI SRC Information Desk during SRC operational hours.  Vandal cards are $10.
  • Single class drop-in passes are available for purchase at the SRC Information Desk for $8/class visit and do not require a Vandal Card.  For classes with limited equipment, pre-registered participants have priority over all drop-in participants.  Single visits are not available for classes listed at Out of Stock.  Single visit purchases do not count toward the cost of registering for the class.
  • Please choose which class you would like to register for by clicking the "View Details" button.  You are welcome to register for multiple classes. 
  • After submitting registration payment, an emailed receipt containing a link to the Group Fitness Waiver will be sent.  Signing this waiver is required to participate in classes.  
  • Some classes have maximum enrollment limits due to limited equipment.  Full classes will be shown as "Out of Stock."

Refunds will be offered according to the following:

  • If a class date is cancelled a prorated refund will be applied for the value of that cancellation.
  • If a class does not maintain minimum enrollment numbers the class may be cancelled and a prorated refund will be provided.
  • If a participant requests to withdraw their registration before the initial start date of a class, a full refund will be provided.
  • If a participant requests to withdraw their registration within 2 weeks of the start of a class, a prorated refund will be provided.
  • No refund will be provided for withdrawal from a class after the first 2 weeks of operation.

    Class Description: This gentle, therapeutic yoga class is based in the Vinyasa Flow tradition, with the speed turned down to slow-flow. This approach is particularly beneficial for low-back pain sufferers. If you’ve never done yoga before, this is a great place to start. And if you’re a seasoned veteran, this is a great place to find your restorative practice.



  • Class starts the week of May 30th and will end the week of June 30th.  No class May 29th and June 19th due to University closures.

    Class Description: This Vinyasa flow style class combines breath practice with strengthening movements that gradually wake up your mind and body. This morning class will bring you energy and set a positive tone for your day.
